This herb is most often used in formulas to treat headaches or toothaches; also used to treat symptoms of upper-body congestion, sinus headache, and acute acne and itching (TCM: strong external wind-cold injury). Also used for its drying effects in treating symptoms of leukorrhea with white or pink vaginal discharge.
