Techniques to care for your Chi energy - Breathing is an integral part of yoga. One simple technique involves breathing through one nostril first, then the other. Press your finger to the left side of your nose to close off the left nostril while you inhale through your right nostril.



Then, release your left nostril and exhale through it. Next, alternate the process, closing off your right nostril while you inhale through your left nostril. Release your right nostril and exhale through it. Repeat this cycle several times.

Techniques to care for your Chi energy - Sit quietly with your back straight and your feet flat on the floor.

Close your eyes and inhale slowly to a count of four.

Hold your breath for a count of four. Then exhale slowly to a count of four.

Repeat this breathing pattern three times.

This technique helps to regulate and balance the flow of chi - it's also a quick, safe, and easy cure for hiccups.
