Shyness can be a nightmare - particularly in the workplace. First of all remember that everyone is shy sometimes - you're not alone. Then try this technique at home; it taps into your subconscious mind to find the answer to your shyness problem.

Technique to care for your Chi energy -
  1. Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes, breathe deeply and allow yourself to relax.
  2. Become aware of your body. Now let one part of it come to mind - whichever part appears first. You will be communicating directly with this body part.
  3. Ask who or what is there. It could be a shape, a creature, or a person. It might be a large black blob, a snake, your mother, or an early teacher, for example. Ask it what its intention is.

    What purpose does it have in this part of your body? It might be trying to protect you; to shield you from embarrassment, to stop you making a fool of yourself.

  4. Once it has given its reply, ask it if it wouldn't rather do something else? Whether it would rather have its freedom? Listen for its answer.
  5. If it says "yes" thank it for having been there and release it. You may want to look deeply at it - see what old thoughts and feelings are caught up in it before releasing it.
  6. If it says "no" you may not be ready to givI this part. Look deeply into it and see what lit self-beliefs and old attitudes are caught up in Maybe it would he willing to change in some constructive way. Perform this exercise frequently until you have got to the bottom of the prob and can allow whatever controls that part of your body to let go and be released.
