Usages
This herb is used in formulas to treat indigestion or poor digestion by
enhancing internal metabolism, promoting proper movement of food through
system, moving food downward, and transforming phlegm. It is also used in
many formulas to negate other herbs' secondary effect of slowing down metabolism
when such an effect is not desired.
