This herb is used in formulas to treat bloodshot eyes or conjunctivitis, bitter taste in mouth, high blood pressure, acute urinary infection, testicular and vaginal pain, leukorrhea, swelling, fever, spasms, and/or ear imbalances (TCM: Lower Burner damp heat and fire in Liver or Gallbladder Channels).
