Neck Exercises
Do these neck exercises before any qi gong session. By loosening up your neck, you will increase the qi flow from your body to your head. Therefore, these exercises help to relax you and also to improve your health.
Neck Turning
1) Stand in a comfortable position with your feet about shoulder width apart. Let your arms hang loosely at your sides.
2) Slowly turn your head as far to the left as it will go, then turn it to the right.
3) Repeat this exercise until you have turned nine times in each direction.
Neck Tilting

1) Stand in a comfortable position with your feet about shoulder width apart. Let your arms hang loosely at your sides.
2) Tilt your head sideways until your ear gets as close to your shoulder as possible. First tilt to the right, then to the left.
3) Repeat this exercise until you have tilted nine times to each side.
Head Nodding

1) Stand in a comfortable position with your feet about shoulder width apart. Let your arms hang loosely at your sides.
2) Slowly nod your head forward until your chin gets as
close to your chest as it can.
3) Now straighten up you head and bend your neck backward so that you are looking at the sky.
4) Repeat this exercise until you have nodded your head nine times both forward and backward.
